Domain Le Vallon - Aubignan, France - Provence

This is the breathtaking Domain Le Vallon - a bed & breakfast where I stayed 2 nights in Provence.  It was overwhelmingly beautiful!

 A huge gate swings open at my arrival!

 This vineyard is on the grounds - Le Vallon has their own wine.

 My room - it was enormous! And there is a second bedroom also, which was a dressing room!

St. Cirque Lapopie - the most beautiful village!

St. Cirque Lapopie was voted to be the most beautiful village in France - you can see why....

around every corner is a painting waiting to happen!

Sarlat - Market Day!

Market Day in beautiful Sarlat - a treat both visually and for my stomach - mmmmm.....

 I bought some strawberries here and ate them before I got home!  Delicious!

Rocamadour - France

Rocamadour - a city made of rock and a place of spiritual pilgrimage...

 The holy city from below...

 Spiritual pilgrims would climb these 200 steps on their knees on the way to the church at the top,  and say a prayer at each step - a very moving place...

This woman was so moved by this station, she reached all the way in to place a flower in Mary's arm...I sensed a reverent moment....
